This varied clinical exposure ensures graduates are competent across all dental disciplines.

The final year and internship period consolidate clinical skills through intensive patient management. Students handle complex cases, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures independently under supervision. They also gain experience in community dentistry—conducting dental health camps, school screening programs, and public awareness initiatives. Research projects and case presentations during the final year develop analytical thinking and evidence‑based practice skills that are essential for modern dental practitioners. Many universities also offer elective rotations in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and laser dentistry, preparing students for the evolving landscape of dental care.
