Nursing Course Details

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) is a four-year undergraduate program that prepares students to become professional nurses. The course blends nursing theory with clinical practice, covering subjects such as anatomy, physiology, nutrition, community health, and mental health nursing. Students receive practical exposure through clinical rotations in hospitals and healthcare centers. Emphasis is placed on ethics, communication, and critical thinking. Graduates are eligible to work as registered nurses in hospitals, clinics, and public health organizations.

Duration of Nursing Course

The B.Sc Nursing program is completed over four years, divided into eight semesters. Each academic year includes both theoretical and practical components. Clinical training starts early and continues throughout the course, ensuring hands-on experience. Affiliated hospitals serve as training grounds for students to apply skills in real healthcare settings. The curriculum is prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to maintain national standards.
