BHMS Course Details
BHMS is a 5.5-year undergraduate program in homeopathic medicine. It covers subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, and homeopathic materia medica. Students undergo clinical training through hospital internships and patient care sessions. The course is designed to prepare skilled homeopathic doctors ready for modern practice.
Duration of BHMS Course
The course duration is 5.5 years, including 4.5 years of academic study and 1 year of internship. The academic portion is spread across four professional years. The internship
offers hands-on training in homeopathic hospitals and clinics. The course is approved by the
Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH).
Eligibility for BHMS
Must have completed 10+2 with PCB and English. Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (40% for reserved categories). Must qualify the NEET-UG entrance exam. Minimum age should be 17 years by December 31 of the admission year. Both Indian and NRI students can apply.
